Gordon was a huge fan of the Junebug Talent Agency. He either purchased or was given all of their CDs and listened to them frequently. He knew they were holding auditions even though they never publicly announced it and knew exactly when and where to go despite them never announcing such information. Through a combination of public transportation and walking, he was able to get there with plenty of time to spare.

While they were waiting, Gordon and the others were given a test to take. Gordon did not have much singing or acting experience, but he was confident he had done well. He had indeed done well and was taken to see President Molly Brenton herself. The room was dark except for numerous stars spinning around on the ceiling and the spotlight on Ms. Brenton.

"I understand you have all our music," said Ms. Brenton.

"Yes, I do," declared Gordon. "I am really impressed by all the talented stars you have in your agency."

"How would you like to join them?" inquired Ms. Brenton. "I think you have what it takes."

"I was hoping you would say something like that," smiled Gordon. "Where do you think I would fit best, acting or music?"

"With someone as talented as you I think we can try for both," Ms. Brenton assured him. "Just think about it. Your name in lights!"

At that moment, the stars spinning around on the ceiling stopped spinning and spelled out the name GLORIA.

"That is not my name," stammered Gordon who still thought it was really impressive.

"That is so your name," insisted Ms. Brenton as more stars appeared and spun around the name Gloria.

Gloria began to realize that it was indeed her name. Ms. Brenton and the Junebug Talent Agency would never steer her wrong. She became younger and her body took on a more feminine appearance. Soon every single part of her body looked like that of a girl in her late teens and not an average one. Her feminine features were quite pronounced.

"My name in lights!" exclaimed Gloria delighted to see the stars on the ceiling spinning around her name.

"Yes, Gloria, you have always been a client of the Junebug Talent Agency," added Ms. Brenton. "You are very talented and it is time for you to move on to something bigger."

Gloria remembered always being with the Junebug Talent Agency. She could not remember any time before. She knew she was very talented and it was time for her to move on to something bigger. She had the CDs of all the stars of the Junebug Talent Agency and soon she would be recording one herself.

First, she would debut in front of a sold out concert as the opening act. If everything worked out she would convince others to join them who in turn would convince still others. They would indeed take over the world and they would do it one step at a time.
