Words Below:
John was called to see Molly Brenton. He had joined the Junebug Talent Agency shortly after downloading a free sample of their music. He loved their songs and listened to them all the time. Out of the available clients, Ms. Brenton considered John the most suited for what she had in mind. With her help, he was going to go far.
"I understand you love our music," said Ms. Brenton. "Then again everyone does. Tell me, who is your favorite performer?"
"Amy!" John replied. "Her looks, her voice, and her moves are all amazing. I would really like to meet her someday."
"Oh you are going to do more than meet her," Ms. Brenton explained. "I am going to let you be her."
John was already entranced by all that was going on around him but managed to ask, "How can that happen?"
"I have my way of doing things," insisted Ms. Brenton. "Close your eyes and imagine Amy getting ready to perform at a concert. She is chatting with her backup singers waiting to perform onstage."
John got a clear vision of Amy backstage waiting to perform at one of her concerts. As he did, his body began to change so that it looked just like Amy. The one once known as John felt how sensitive his, or her, body had become. She grabbed her breasts not only to confirm they were real but to give her a sense of pleasure.
Ms. Brenton had been waiting for that moment and whispered, "You are who you appear to be."
She felt her memories slipping away from her. Before she could grieve their loss, they were replaced by new ones. She was Amy, a famous rock star. She was getting ready to perform at one of her concerts. Molly Brenton was the one who ran Junebug Talent Agency and she had personally shown up to give her some words of encouragement.
Ms. Brenton was pleased with how things had gone so far but knew the transformation was not yet complete. In her mind, Amy could see two different timelines. The top one had Amy at different ages. The bottom one had John at different ages and slowly moved upwards. Both of them ended with Amy at her current age.
"How did you end up becoming the lead female performer?" demanded Ms. Brenton.
Amy focused on one of the children in John's timeline. Upon closer examination she discovered it was actually a little girl dressed like a little boy. This made sense because she was who she appeared to be, but that did not stop her.
"I started out as a boy and then became a woman," explained Amy as if that was something perfectly normal.
"Boys do not become women. GIRLS do!" snapped Ms. Brenton.
The little girl in John's timeline became frightened. She had been discovered. Quickly she jumped over to Amy's timeline. Her clothing changed into something more appropriate for Amy.
"I have always been a girl," conceded Amy. "I became the lead female performer thanks to the help of the Junebug Talent Agency."
"Right!" commended Ms. Brenton. "You are ready. You will be driven to your concert where your backup singers are already waiting for you. Be sure to encourage others to join the Junebug Talent Agency. It is very important. More important than your music!"
"It will be done," Amy assured her as she left to go to her concert.
The old Amy would be hypnotized to become one of the backup singers. She had served her usefulness but she was no longer needed quite as much. Ms. Brenton had found someone better.
