Perhaps the last surviving saber-tooth tiger in the hidden, primitive domain called the Savage Land, Zabu is the fiercely loyal companion to Ka-Zar. Having protected and raised the boy into adulthood, along the way, Zabu was exposed to mysterious radioactive mists, greatly advancing his already impressive intellect (and perhaps also lengthening Zabu-l's lifespan). So one very special kitty cat.⁣

Wherever Ka-Zar goes, whether it be the Jungle or forays into the outside world, Zabu is never far behind. A powerful brawler and an excellent judge of character, Zabu more than pulls his own weight in this suoerheroic partnership. ⁣
