My son has his birthday the other day, and I bought him the set of the latest LEGO Bionicle figures. He finished building the last of them this morning, and came to show me one in a weird pose.I thought it was cool, so that gave me the idea of getting my camera out and having a play with them myself...

I couldn't cope with Quantum Physics. I barely scraped through my physics course in my first year of University back in 1988. Once I hit uni, the maths just got too damn hard too quickly.
Photography, by comparison, is easy. Most of it's completely intuitive for me, which is my preferred mode of working

Well, I don´t entirely agree with the "intuitive" part, but at least with digital you have instant feedback and instant gratification

Actually, the composition of most of my shots is mostly intuitive. I get a certain feeling when I'm in the right spot for a good shot. DoF is now part of that as well...
