Kazdex was created by Mata-Nui so as to populate the Matoran Universe with Rahi. During this time he focused on Avian Rahi. WHen the Makuta began their rebellion, Kazdex (while secretly being loyal to Miserix) joined the rebelling Makuta out of fear that he would be killed for not siding with them. When the Makuta Genocide began, Kadex hide into the ocean so as to escape the Order, but he ended up being mutated by the Pit Mutagen; His mouth and upper jaw was reduced to two mandibles and a mess of fangs, he grew a scorpion like tail, became fully aquatic, and his rhotuka Sword was fused to his lower right arm. Eventually however, Kazdex was discovered by the Order, but to his suprise, the Order simply locked him away instead of killing him. Kazdex soon revealed what little information about Caligo's plan in exchange for being allowed to live. The order granted his wish, but instead of recieving full freedom, was made a servant of the Order. However he found that virtually nobody fully trusted him, though he soon found friends in an Onu-Matoran named Sepelire, and a utant Steltian named Niteat. Recently he (along with Sepelire and Niteat) was put under the command of a Vortixx assassin names Quinset.

Personality: Kazdex is timid, he prefers to remain at a distance, and rely on ranged attack rather than getting up close. He is also very cautious, and is constantly on allert. Despite this he is very loyal, and will not abandon his comrades in times of need or stress.

Powers/Abilities: Kazdex possess' all 42 Rahkshi abilities, anf the ability to create, control, and absorb the element of shadow. He wield a squid launcher, a charged spear, double sided barbed sword, and his lower right arm has a rhotuka launcher and blade fused into it. He also wears a breathing device, allowing him to not have to remain in the surface.
