For Ms. Davis, her safe return to the Junebug Talent Agency offered little comfort. She actually felt safer as a prisoner of the Agents of Freedom. They only brought her back to make sure she didn't give away any information and she knew it. It was more like trading one prison for another. Ms. Brenton, Mr. Hunter, and the other executives at Junebug Talent Agency sent her a barrage of questions her way to make sure she had not said anything. She had not.

Ms. Davis did her best to answer the questions truthfully because they had ways of knowing if she lied. She wondered how she knew that. The faint noise of static could be heard in the background. That was when she knew what was going on. Even while they were questioning her she was being exposed to the same hypnotic conditioning usually reserved for their clients and unwanted guests. It was clear she was no longer considered one of their own, just an unwanted guest.

If she tried to run, they would pounce on her for sure. She would have to just sit there and take it. Her knowledge of hypnotic conditioning made her tougher than most. To make up for this, they exposed her to many different types of hypnotic conditioning at once. It was dangerous but they did not care one bit about her safety. They just wanted her to comply, or die if she could not. Gradually the will of Ms. Davis faded and she submitted to their will.

The Junebug Talent Agency scolded her and told her the only reason they kept her at all was due to her skill. They commanded her to instruct the other clients with what they needed to know. Compelled to obey their commands, Ms. Davis got to work. They would not let her leave the building again until she proved her worth and they would never remove her hypnotic conditioning.

Despite the trouble the Agents of Freedom had given them, the Junebug Talent Agency Executives were back on schedule. They had only been delayed, not defeated. Once they really got going, their clients would increase exponentially and they would be able to take over the world.

Commander Jake Black received several different accounts of the events from the undercover Agents of Freedom. Although none of them were actually present at the interrogation, it did not exactly take a rocket scientist to figure out they had turned on one of their own.
