It's salt and it shows up differently on different types of skin. On John's of course it really shows its stuff but was no less interesting on Duma's pale skin.Β

Thank you! Those little details are important. And what you're seeing here is salt residue on John's skin from the salty water that he was immersed in just before this picture. Sometimes it forms the most amazing patterns on the skin and I have to say that it was one of the primary motivations in sharing this picture. It's beautiful on his dark skin and in my mind lifts the image up to something well beyond the sexual.Β

Β We had a salt lake in the middle of Anatolia. It is the second biggest lake of Turkey. I wentb there to have some shots with a model. The results are mot so bad and I want to have the same effect on the skin but it did not happen. We went to photo session both atr the sunrise and also sunsste. but the weather was so cold so she can not wet her skiΔn very properly I suppose...
