Growing up I often heard it said, "Get close to your work"...they definitely work closely together, almost to the point of appearing...affectionate.
I'm assuming this was not a posed shot, but I may be wrong about that.

Hard to say where working stops and posing begins. My work is fluid in that regard. I photographed Tyler painting Gavin's body all the way through from beginning to end. It takes exceptional people to open up enough to do this kind of work where the bodies are in close contact throughout the shoot regardless of one's personal orientation sexually.
