Mutt — Description

Mutt is an awkward, slightly larger than average calico… cat? With floppy ears, a small tail and dull, permanently unsheathed claws - she appears more like a dog than a cat… or maybe just a mix of both? An impossible, unsightly mutt of sorts… Her eyes are hazel, the pupils round.
Mutt’s curse is an obvious one. She is cursed with dog-like anatomy and abilities, in the form of an enhanced sense of smell and greater bite force. In total, it’s not actually that much. The worst part is the skin-deep effect, if you ask Mutt, she looks nothing but wrong.
She’s a very nervous and unconfident individual, feeling out of place and flawed down to her very bones. Mutt craves to fit in just as much as she fears the judgemental stares of the cats around her… And this plight has led her right into Love’s generous embrace.

And despite the cruel stares and whispers of other group members, ever persistent - it feels amazing to finally be loved, to know she’s loved. Even if it’s just by Love. It’s an assurance - a miracle - that she can’t fathom ever giving up.

ohohoh, I finally unveil another old, old PAIN character. Believe or not, I've had Mutt in mind with PAIN's concept VERY early on. I want to say before Drip even (which is crazy early), I was doodling up a cat who felt like they were stuck in a dog's skin. Originally they were straight up permanently wearing a dog skin mask, and I ended up splitting that initial concept into both Mutt and Face.
I will say, Mutt isn't super critical to the story I have in mind so far... but she's definitely open to getting a bigger role if I think one up, because I do like her a lot. I think she deserves a full ref, at least.
Her lore is short for now, because I've pretty much summed up where she's at in the start of the story, but maybe I'll add more later if I think it's necessary.
