Hypothetical PAIN Rantsonas — Description

Second PAINtober upload, I bring to you a lineup of drawings I made in 2023 for a potential PMV idea I had. The idea involved a lot of PAIN characters in this sort of 'Rantsona' style - as in they'd pop between different expressions on a mostly static body as the background behind them changed and stuff. The song was Redesign Your Logo by Lemon Demon if you want to try imagining how my brain managed to fit PAIN onto that.
Characters in order of left to right: Know, Glow, Rapt, Dark, Love, Hide, Kill, Free, Unleashed Dark, and Fear.
Rapt and Hide are canonized ocs of @750Dinosaur's! This is the first time I'm sharing the existence of Rapt, he's essentially just a silly background character cursed to be excited (rapt) with everything.
Anyway, these for the most part work as references for color and design of these characters, albeit very simplified. A few things I can point out as no longer accurate is Dark's lack of wings, Free's lack of collar and Hide's back marking has been changed to more of an hourglass shape. Also this might also be the only ref I have now of unrotten, not-unleashed Free, I'm just now realizing.
Also! This is the first reveal of Dark's Unleashed design, which I've been cursed to always start trying to draw a proper fullbody reference of but never finishing a single one. So in the absence of a proper ref, this works. It is lacking wings though, and the horns are spikier in my current idea.
Oh also I forgot Know's earring, that's not a design change I just fully forgot.
Edit: I found a GIF I made of Love changing between expressions, trying to test out how my idea would look/work. So I added it. Wow.
