Pyre — Description

Pyre was a slim gray cat with ashy, constantly flaking fur and skin. Flames flickered through shifting cracks to her coat, revealing the pure fire underneath. She radiated warmth for obvious reasons, feeling hotter the closer you got. Her eyes were bright, literal fiery orange.
Pyre was cursed with a body made from fire, held back by her ashy coat. This coat naturally flaked apart, but just as naturally repaired itself as long as her internal fire kept calm and cool. Heightened emotions caused her fiery form to burst from the seams and ignite flames across anything flammable she came in contact with. Thankfully, she was able to reign her temper in more often than not.
However, that was not the only piece to her curse - Pyre held the specific ability to burn up any deceased cat’s body, regardless whether or not the cat was immune to fire in life or not, just as long as their lifeless body remained available to touch. As their body turned to ash and smoke, a power transferred to Pyre’s form, like adding fuel to a hungry fire. She would strengthen in size and heat and emotion as the deceased cat’s memories burned up into her mind. It was overwhelming.
Even just one cat would quickly burst her out of her ashy coat’s control - useful in a pinch but not a very pleasant experience for her or the flammable things around her. The saving grace was that with enough time and peace, Pyre could eventually relax herself back down to normal size and fire… putting the memories she absorbed as far back in her mind as possible in the process… she could never truly forget them.
