Fuse — Description

Fuse is a terribly matted gray tabby cat with a strong cream tint to his underside and curled back ears. The tips of his ears extend unnaturally long, looping and (typically) ending with a hot, sparking tuft of fur. His eye sockets are filled with black shards, shadowy and sharp. A streak of shards splits the right side of his face like a seam, bending left as it breaches his neck. Various smaller specks of black jut out across his face, neck and shoulders. His left eye squints with a deep, black scar carved over it.
Fuse is cursed into, well, a bomb of sorts. Ready to explode any moment. Ever paranoid, ever volatile, it doesn’t seem to take much for Fuse’s power to set off. The ends of his ears serving as the only warning to other cats, getting shorter and shorter until… KABOOM! Cracks and sparks and a white hot flash and flames and smoke and charred remains are all that’s left in his close proximity. And then a cat stumbles back up from the ash and runs as far and fast away as he can. Always unscathed by his own blast.
It’s not at all voluntary, and just as much as Fuse’s curse is useful in saving his life against an assailant, he’s just as prone to hurting - or killing - someone he never meant to in a moment of panic. Just the thought of it panics him.

Fuse! I'm a little unsatisfied with this one, but overall I like how it came out. Fuse was in need of a new, better ref, so I'm happy he has one now either way.
