SORRY FOR THE REUPLOAD!Part 3 of 12 for the Elements series!
Heeeere we have feisty Lightning element!
So I based this one on my best friend, because she loves a good thunderstorm and lightning show (simple reasoning, but I think it suits her).
I originally drew the lightning strikes with black pen, but decided to go over them with white gel pen, aaand I'm pretty happy with the outcome ^^
About the Elements Project:
A good friend of mine (who always encourages me to do art) gave me an art challenge, and that was to draw 12 elements based on 12 of my friends. She's given me challenges before, but this one sparked my interest and motivated me to actually complete it (plus 12 is doable!)

Excellent work once again! The outfit looks fantastic. I wish I was capable of designing fashion like this. The white of the lightning helps it stand out from the piece; giving it a black outline would make it a bit too flat, whereas this lightning looks like it forms a sphere around her. If I were to give just one suggestion, I'd tell you to add a bit of glow to the lightning and some highlights where it comes close to her. Either way it looks amazing!

Thankyou so much! I actually wanted to design fashion for a period of time when I was in high school, so I did a lot of fashion-related drawings and such. (That career path never went through though, sadly)
I totally agree with adding some glow to the lightning, that'd make this piece pretty darn amazing! Maybe one day I'll re-do it (or just touch up this one)
