The next selection done simultaneous to another artists colouring the same piece, ~NeloArc and ~Enres were both going to be coming in on this time. Things got a little hectic, so I don't know that we'll be doing this again.
Anyway, this is Six, from "Tripping The Rift" a show that no, I haven't seen. But I can say that after nearly a week of working on these curves, season one is already on order through Amazon.
Amazing challenge, not being sure which way to colour her hair. Some pictures I saw showed it as closer to blue, others closer to indigo. And then to make the darker parts of the hair stand out from the starry background. Props go to the other half, for coming up with the idea of the dome - I think it hits the spot. And silver, oi! Silver fabric is not as easy as it seems!!
I know there are folks out there who are fierce fans of the show, and really wanted to do this piece justice. Many thanks, again, to ~ColourDood for being an amazing resource and honest critic. Thanks hon, for making sure those insane fan boys don't have a reason to roast me!

I really like this piece for two reasons. No, not like that.
First reason being that as someone who watched Tripping the Rift a lot when it aired, Russ's lines and your coloring makes this one of the best Six pieces on site. Literally only downsides that I can find is her lack of a beauty mark above her left lip and her panties are technically blue, but that's just nitpicking on my part and the rest of the work more than makes up for it.
Second reason is that often, artwork of this nature has the woman's lewdness is increased. For example, I doubt Lara Croft would fight the supernatural with her girls out in the actual series. However, this image is totally in character for Six. If flashing would somehow help the gang, you bet she'd take the girls out no problem. She even did this move in one episode, the one with the skateboarding contest.
Anyway, love this piece.

Nice coloring on a great rplatt illo. Tripping the Rift was on Sci-Fi channel's late prime time lineup for two seasons a few years back, so it was kind of easy to overlook it. But those of us who did catch it the first time around got one of the funniest and raunchiest animated shows on TV.

I'm a huge fan of Tripping the Rift and I think the coloring job you did on Six is definitely the truest to the character. Great job!

Actually, there's an episode in season two that has nearly the reverse shot of this. Didn't know about that at the time, but it's kinda neat.

So much better than another 'colored' version that I've seen where the colorist put in the most washed out colors to bee seen this side of the equator. Love it!
