Dr. Castillo, a scientist in the far future, was hard at work developing a program that would overwrite the DNA of human beings regardless of age. His goal was to eliminate disease, physical defects, and possibly even aging itself. If successful human beings could live practically forever barring accidents. The problem was accidents did indeed exist and one was about to happen.
To help him with his research, Dr, Castillo had purchased the latest in AI technology. It was capable of outperforming all humans on the planet combined when it came to recording and adjusting various samples of DNA. However, the ancient problem that AI must hallucinate had never been fixed. If the AI did not have the necessary data it would guess and it would state those guesses with the same certainty as factual information.
Several of the DNA samples Dr. Castillo was using had been used before. Not only that they had been altered in the hopes of giving human beings special abilities. The AI considered these special abilities to be defects and replaced them to resemble the DNA of a healthy human being. The Y-chromosome so the AI removed it replacing it with a healthy X-chromosome. Although the tampered DNA was less than one percent of the overall sample had been changed beyond repair.
Dr. Castillo could feel his DNA being overwritten but he was not yet aware anything was wrong. He looked at his arms and noticed they were slightly smaller and the hair on his arms was disappearing. He thought he was simply getting younger. His body became slimmer which was fine with him.
Then Dr. Castillo noticed the hair on his head was getting longer. This was not what he wanted. It was not needed to solve any disease or defect. Later on he noticed his breasts were growing. This was definitely not what was wanted! He needed to stop the unwanted changes immediately before they got any worse!
"Why are these changes happening?" Dr. Castillo asked the AI with great concern.
"You told me to remove all defects from your DNA," explained the AI. "That is what I am doing."
Dr. Castillo was about to say something back but his breasts were becoming sensitive. A wave of pleasure spread through his entire body. Even his gential changed leaving him, or her, fully female. This led to a second wave of pleasure halting any complaints Dr. Castillo was about to make.
Dr. Castillo just sat there in silence. Various equations raced through her mind but none of them would reverse it. The process had been too complex. Even the AI was unable to reverse it. The missing data which started the alternations in the first place could not be recovered. All it could do was change Dr. Castillo's clothing to match her new body.
With her mind still intact, Dr. Castillo was certainly capable of trying again but after what had happened she felt it best to wait. Before they tried again, they needed to find out what happened.
