Katie went off to celebrate with her new sorority sisters leaving Nova by herself. Once again Nova felt something was not right about her situation. She did not even remember her own transformation but she remembered Kaden. Clearly something needed to be done but she had no idea what to do. It was then that she remembered.

Nova, the astronomy major with a great memory, had once been Norbert. Like Kaden she had somehow been transformed. She was in over her head. Whether she liked it or not she had to play along for the time being. All the others were already sorority sisters when she got there. The only person she could trust was Katie. Cautiously Nova waited for a time when she could talk to Katie alone.

"Do you feel like something strange is going on here?" asked Nova.

"What do you mean?" wondered Katie.

Like the others Katie appeared to have no idea about the changes or the other unusual things at the sorority house. Nova did not give up. She used her great memory to point out flaws in her personal history. Changing her gender and leaving everything else more or less the same created some gaps that Nova was able to point out. Slowly she won Katie over.

"So the rumors were true," realized Katie.

"We need to inform the others, but some of them might be willing accomplices or simply not believe us," explained Nova. "We have to plan our next moves carefully. It might be best to plan things outside the sorority house."

"They have powers we can not even begin to comprehend," cried Katie. "We have no powers. What can we do about it?"

"It does not appear they want to hurt us," said Nova. "They just want us to be part of their sorority. We should look for the weakest link and deal with them one at a time. I do not know if it will do any good but we should at least try."

"We should study all the rumors, even the contradictory ones," agreed Katie. "Even the most outlandish ones should have a shred of truth to them."

"Unless it was deliberate misinformation," sighed Nova. "At this point we have little idea what is true and what is not. We need to plan things out."

Plan things out they did. However, despite their caution, they knew they needed to do something before the next party!
