Dive Right In — Description
So I woke up this morning around 5:30, with only 3 hours sleep. I had a song stuck in my head, but especially a certain part of the song, and the more I thought about it, the more a picture formed in my head.
So after fighting myself to go back to sleep for a while I finally got up and started drawing. It took me about 3 hours to finish (and a lot of goofing off time in between) but I actually finished it.
I, the procrastinator who never finishes anything, finished it...in a couple of hours no less.
So I am thrilled to death with myself over that accomplishment and thats not even saying how in love with this I am.

So the song that inspired this was Dog Days, by Florence and the Machine as found here [link]
But the weird thing about it is this drawing has NOTHING to do with this song....The part that really inspired it though is at about 1:44 into the song. Not the words, but the way it was sung.

I have no idea how I turned that into this but hey works for me. So hooray for my first inspired drawing actually finished in one day that I have done in 6 years!
