The dirt body art makes this a compelling piece, almost Promethean. The ropework is a bit understated, however (I think it would work without it, but if it's important to you here, it doesn't have a dramatic place).

I love the red earth on his skin too - it really worked. The copper that's binding his genitals is more obvious in closer shots. I think it was intended more as an adornment than a focal point. I separated his balls by binding the copper in a figure 8 pattern around and between them. The effect of that and the copper coming down along his cock draws attention without hogging it. I hope anyway.

I've kind of moved into a place with my work where I enjoy doing things with genitals. Sometimes it's more obvious and other times very subtle. The fact is, I've been as cock-blocked as anyone even tho I've been doing nudes for almost 30 years. It's fun for me and my models to be able to make fun with dicks and balls and to let them be an active part of the adventure instead of just tag-alongs.

A wonderful observation. I hadn't noticed the duality of his hands; they could in a sense represent both him and me in this situation because I suffer from intense vertigo and would therefore be the tentative hand, while he was very comfortable at the edge of the cliff looking down several hundred feet to the rocks below. The brave and languid hand.

You know, I feel like a kid in a candy store pretty much every day of my life anymore. I choose my models carefully so that we're both in the same vein when it comes to this kind of work.
