Custom MLP - Steampunk Cyborg — Description
The finished Suggest a Symbol in all her glory. The three words I picked with the help of randomizer.org were cyborg, feather, and cosh. I wasn't quite sure what to do with the feather, but the combination of cosh and cyborg immediately made me thing of a Victorian police constable who happened to be part robot. My brain is a weird place. Since all three items had to be worked into the painting of the pony I put the feather and the cosh on the pony's symbol badge, making the police force she serves on apparently kind of kinky. The cyborgy-ness really came out in her right eye, with bolted metal plates and a red gear to continue the steampunk theme. A few more bits of plating sprinkled over her body completed the image, along with the removeable gear and chain headband I made. The winner chose her hair colors and let me give her bangs which took forever but I think was worth it. This was definitely an experimental pony but very fun to do.

Eyes, symbol and plating are hand painted with acrylics and sealed. The pony was rehaired with nylon hair and the headband was made out of gold plated jump rings and re-purposed watch gears.
