Sweet, I love the composition. It's actually quite engaging. You can never go wrong with blue!! <3 blue.

It looks technically sound too, so kudos for that, I've never used 3D Max so this is beyond me.

Yeah dude, blue is the best. Though, I've really got to find a better color to get comfortable with. I've been using blue for so long. The reason I like it is that the analogous colors in both directions of the spectrum go very well with blue. Green/cyann fits just right in the highlights, and purple is a good lowlight color. As far as I know, there is no other color that does that; correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks for the comment!

I'm carefully exploring color, I swear I've no sense for color when it comes to my work, it's like my color receptors get scrambled every time I point a colored brush on empty canvas.

Color isnt easy!! I'm aware of what works and what doesn't work visually, I just haven't been able to really put it to practice. I've resorted to painting in gray scale or one color before I go in to add others -hoping this will spare a retarded outcome, I can't say it worked perfectly but it hasn't backfired yet...

You said it! Color is one of the most important elements of art, and it certainly isn't a walk in the park. I've spent countless hours studying and researching how light and colors react. I think that I have a pretty decent understanding of color now. I'm able to point out color mistakes in alot of artwork, somtimes things that other people/the artist didn't see.

Let me tell you right now, learning color really pays off. I'm still learning, of course, I'm no rembrandt...
