I like this one a little more than the previous one. The slightly toned down DoF gives it a much more realistic feeling. But I liked the other one also, because the exaggerated DoF looked cool.
I guess I'm easy to please like that

I work well with "easy to please" so thanks!

This may be closer to realistic view. Just my $.02... Β Β

Thanks! I find DOF in larger scenes interesting. If you were *there*, everything always seems in focus, because your eyes adjust to whatever element you're looking at. If you were to take a photo, it's much more likely to have DOF naturally. The difference being, I suppose, in a photo, you'd be much less likely to care about things in the background

I do like to examine a picture and see what "extras" I can pick up on.

I don't think either of those would be a challenge! You'd fit right in!!

Saw this on KaroneRys 's monthly features journal; instant favourite and watch. Looks like a beautiful and intelligent woman standing by the pool.

Thanks! She is definitely both of those things!

Definitely more realistic. Looks like a beautiful woman standing by the pool, as apposed to a beautiful woman pasted on top of a blurry photo of a pool.

Beatrix looks scrumptious! Β Definitely dedicated, but so kind of her to provide us with such a lovely view! Β I like this version better, I didn't realize that was Dina in the background until this version. Β Dina looks great, even in the background.

I'm so happy you noticed her! I picked a few of my really cute girls and thought they'd make good back ground

I prefer this one more, never been a DoF fan, the scene looses too much. In either scene, she is delicious!

Haha She's the best!
Thanks for the feedback - I'm of two minds as far as DOF goes. I think what it comes down to is the question "what am I trying to replicate? A scene or a photo?" and then choose my DOF accordingly

I like the other one better. More focus on Beatrix

I really liked it for that purpose too! Though I do understand the interest in seeing everything freely. It's been an interesting discussion to see everyone's view on it.

Interesting that most of your commenters like the version without DoF better.
Well I can also understand it. Since you put two other pretty ladies in the background. They like to be seen too
