After so many rejections over the years, this is how I've come to see the "Dating Game." I've stopped working on this drawing when I hooked up with most recent ex, which was round January 2017. We can all guess how that relationship went...
Yep, this is the dating game in a nutshell; the least qualified are eliminated by those with more criteria met.

My observation is that the least aggressive (sometimes most qualified) are edged out by those whose goals seem more important
