One of my personal favorites, Spidercide is a clone of Peter Parker created by the Jackal who is responsable for all of the Spider-Man clones such as Kaine (coming soon) and the Scarlet Spider...The Jackal made Spidercide believe he was the true Peter Parker and used him for his plots.
Spidercide has all the abilities and powers that Spiderman has like cling to walls, superhuman strength, a sixth sense ("spider-sense") that alerts him to danger, perfect balance and equilibrium, as well as superhuman speed and agility. Plus to that, Spidercide has a malleable body much like Mister Fantastic but not as extreme and can create sharp weapons with his body... he also can turn into a liquid form and re-materialize into a solid.
A very powerfull enemy for Spiderman ([link] ) indeed, to bad hes story was short, i a shame cuz he could be more exploited.

Why couldn't they use this spiderman for the spider verse series. At least they could have used him as a victim of the Inheriters

I liked Spidercide. True, he was overwhelming for a spidey villain, but his sense of humour was something thatmade him unique outside of Deadpool.

I saw this guy in Linkara's review of Spiderman: Maximum Clonage.
From that, I learned that this particular mini-series SUCKED.

Oh? True, it did jar the continuity, but it didn't out and out rape it like OMD/BND.
On the whole the clone saga was well written in places, but it attempted to make peter a legacy character, which didn't work (although the stories where Ben Reilly was running as Spiderman were some of my favourites)
On the whole, it's something Marvel would rather forget, even if it did help them restore Norman back to life.
