the second half of my artswap for *aurynIt's Niko and josh AGAIN.
Nikolai Molokov is the stubbly, scowling one on the left. Josh Bell is the pretty, scrawny one on the right.
These two aren't a couple. By no means. They're bosom companions, best pals, call it whatever. They drive each other insane, don't listen to a word of what each other says, cry on each other's shoulders, brew illegal prison hooch and scold each other mercilessly for the least folly - but when it all comes down to it they're mates.
Niko and Josh have a hell of a lot in common, but their approaches on life are very different. Josh is fairly passive, nice to everyone, tries not to attract attention other than what's needed for his work - Niko get in EVERYONE'S face and doesn't take any nonsense. Josh avoids notice and hides his feelings, Niko's demonstrative and wears his heart on his sleeve.
they have the best dynamic going. i love working with these two

I really adore Niko. He's fun, very neurotic. AND I love this picture. They look very intense. ALSO VERY COUPLE-Y. Hand holding in prison? Death sentence. DEATH. Especially with Carville and Parkinson out there.
ANYHOW, I finally got around to drawing my half of the trade. sorta. I got the pencils done, still gotta ink it yadda yadda.

Niko has enough neuroses and psychoses to begin his own research program.
it wasn't meant to be so couple-y. More like two buddies taking their stance against the world. but....yeah. Niko got grabby XD. He really loves Josh, in a mostly-platonic way (when hooch isn't involved) but i don't think he'd try hand-holding if there was any chance of Josh getting bashed over it. he's stupid over himself, but not around his friends.

it hides a horrible scar on his adam's apple that gives him a husky voice. just to add sexy.
He doesn't scowl often. but he's got the face for it.
