Hades — Description

Son of Kronos and Rhea.
God of the Dead and of Underground Riches.
Consort of Persephone.
Roman Equivalent: Pluton.
Egyptian Equivalente: Osíris.
Norse Equivalent: Hella.
Lord of the Underworld and Leader of the Chthonic Gods.
He was considered a rich god because all the riches of the underground were his, "Rich" also one of his Greek epithets, his name was often used to designate both the god and the kingdom he governs, in the underground of the Earth.
He is also known for having kidnapped the goddess Kore daughter of Demeter, to whom he would have been faithful.
The symbology of this union brings into communication two of the main forces and natural resources: the wealth of the subsoil that supplies the minerals, and makes the seeds, life and death, sprout from its core.
Hades usually plays a secondary role in mythology, as the fact that he is the ruler of the Underworld means that his work is "divided" between other deities, such as Thanatos, god of death, or the Keres (Ker), the latter portrayed in the Iliad eagerly collecting the souls of warriors, while Thanatos appears in the myths of the kind Alcestis or the cunning Sisyphus.
As the relentless and invincible lord of death, Hades is the god most hated by mortals.
In Titanomachy, the gods stationed themselves on Mount Olympus and, with the help of the Hecatonchires, fought the other Titans, who positioned themselves on Mount Otris, in a battle that lasted ten years.
The Cyclopes gave the three Olympian brothers their weapons: Zeus the thunderbolts, Poseidon the trident and Hades a helmet, which made him invisible. Kronos defeat came about with the use of three weapons: Hades, invisible with his helmet, stole his father's weapons and, while Poseidon distracted him with the trident, Zeus fulminated him with his lightning bolts.
Unlike his Brothers, Hades only had one Wife for whom he was Faithful.
With Persephone he begot Macaria, Melinoe and Zagreus.
