Description
This is GIMP on Ubuntu 12.04, so I don't know how it works on Windows. I'm pretty sure it's the same with different selection colors and shapes.The avatar is from this picture: [link]
Here's the avatar I made: [link]
If you still have any doubt, ask me.
DOWNLOAD THE NEWEST VERSION OF GIMP
For Windows XP or newer: [link]
----------------
For Mac OS X: [link]
---------------
For Linux-based systems
They come pre-installed, but I'll write the command lines here just in case.
Ubuntu and Debian: Just open terminal and run "apt-get install gimp"
OpenSuse: "yast -i gimp" or "zypper in gimp"
Fedora: "yum install gimp"

* RGB
* CMYK
* Escala de grises
Y seleccionas que sea RGB

Oh, well, I use the "+" and "-" keys, but I don't know how your keyboard works, I think there's also a tool for that.
(Also, I prefer to speak English, I can't understand that grammar)

Actually, it has never happened to me, what I always forget is to select the layer I'm working with.
That thought of "Why isn't the pencil working?" then I find that I'm working on a different layer XD
