Description
v2: Removed some nuisance references that caused an error message to be displayed. Error message did not affect use, but was certainly annoying.Contained in this ZIP file isΒ a set of IRAY Wood Shaders for DAZ Studio.
I was frustrated by the lack of pattern floor and wall shaders in my library, so I decided to go about creating my own.
These shaders are broken up into two major categories: natural patterned shaders and plank shaders.
Each of these categories are then broken down into a couple of sub categories for different styles. Each of these style categories uses a single bump / displacement map of their own. I did this so that there would be consistency across the categories, while maximizing the different color and hue shades for each sub item.
Most of the source textures are seamless.
Also included are separate shaders that control other aspects of the shaders: gloss, tiling, bump, displacement, top coat, etc.
No installation is required beyond unzipping the archive to a runtime content directory.
The shaders are free to use for both hobby and commercial projects. All I ask is that you provide any feedback that might come to mind.
If you have any questions about useage of these, please feel free to contact me.
If this package is well received, then I will post additional shader packages.
Enjoy!
