DAZ Content Library — Description
I am a very visual, impulsive guy when I am coming up with concepts for new pictures. I don't like to experiment around, but I do like to quickly look through my content and see if anything leaps out at me.

This mindset has never really worked within Daz Studio, mostly because things are so hard to locate. The navigation through content takes me out of the creative mental mode.

Recently, using DIM and Photoshop I was able to put together a pretty nice snapshot of my DAZ Content Library as one multi-paged PDF that is really easy to scan through looking for prompts.

The process involves letting DIM download all of the product images. Next going into that directory and copying all of the graphics to a new directory. For ease of organization I used a file renaming tool to add leader zeroes so that all the file names were the same length.

Within Photoshop I used the File > Automate > Contact Sheet tool. I pointed the tool to the new directory with all of the content images in it. I set the document size at 1920x1080 (the width of my screen normally). Resolution at 72 dpi (since I don't plan to print the results).

For the thumbnails I set it to place "across first" so that they are left to right, oldest to newest. Columns at 13 and Rows at 5 (which I measured against the size of the content pictures, to maximize screen use). And "Use Filename as Caption" at 12 points (this way I can easily identify what product goes with each image).

Once this process finished I was left with almost a hundred different JPGs filled with grids of products. Unwieldy at first, but fixed with File > Automate > PDF Presentation. Set this as "Source Files" > "Add Open Files", "Save As" > "Multi Page Document". The result is a single PDF with each of these product thumbnail grids as a full screen page.
