Atlas Tortoise — Description
Una hiena gigante Pachycrocuta no está particularmente contenta de que Megalochelys atlas se haya invitado al banquete. Basado en las tortugas terrestres modernas que aparentemente comen carroña con bastante regularidad. A giant hyena Pachycrocuta is not particularly thrilled to have a Megalochelys atlas join the feast. Based on modern tortoises which apparently scavenge with some regularity. M. atlas is the largest known tortoise, which roamed southern and south-eastern Asia during the Plio-Pleistocene and is believed to have weighed up to 2 tons (although some estimates in the past suggested up to 4 tons!).
Pachycrocuta was a huge hyena over 100 kg, also very extended throughout Africa and Eurasia. It was quite robust and likely slower but more powerful than modern hyenas. Very likely an expert on stealing other carnivores' kills as no one would've wanted to deal with those deadly jaws, but very likely also an active predator to watch out for.
