I like Ennis House, which Frank Lloyd Wright also designed. It featured in the film Bladerunner. It's an amazing piece of design thats almost like a modern Myan temple.
I wish I had a few million dollars to spare so I could have bought it when it went on sale last year.

You are correct Adam, This is what Wright came-up
with after visiting those temples. He was trying to
develop a new type of concrete block with the Ennis House.
As the story goes, The Ennis House was one of those projects where "Frank" got
pissed-off and abandoned the clients because Mrs. Ennis tried to force "Wright"
to include some "Spanish" details into this house! YUK! Stupid bitch! You don't
do that to an Architect of "Wright's" caliber! Sometimes, rich folks are as
dumb as a sack of hammers! Maybe she didn't know who she was dealing with....
Yeah Adam, the "Ennis House" is quite a "Mausoleum"! I've always liked it's
form, massing, and details.

Ha well I mentioned Blade Runner because it's my favourite film.
That is stupid trying to tell wright what to do. People with no artistic skill should not try to tell creatives what to do. It's like film prodyucers, all they should deal with is money but they always try to mess with the director's ideas.

I just wanted to add to the beginning of your "list"! In fact, "Blade Runner" is the best
example of movie production design! Many set designs in that movie were influenced by the the
forms and detailing of the "Ennis House"! The point is that it has appeared in several movies.
Wish I could have purchased the damn thing when it was for sale, awhile ago.
You are also correct! Rich people should hire someone like "Wright", show him the land,
tell him what it's to be used for, and let him go!

Thank you for this! I'll look into that later. I own a few
books on this house. I'm kinda amazed how I have sunk to the level
of posting the work of someone else just because I'm scrounging around
to find anything to post, cause I'm running out of my own stuff!
I'm glad that more and more people are becoming aware of this piece of art!
It always served as an icon for me from when I was a young Architecture student...
It's history is fun to know about! Turns out that there was quite a "fight"
to build this thing! You need to find the few letters that "Wright" and "Kofmann",
the owner, wrote each other over the construction! It's so funny! The "claws came out"!
