die.Another angle of "Cruel World"; sometime after Rock's initial hysteria over Protoman's death subsides (temporarily. Remember Shadowman?).
Pose borrowed from a promotional Z Gundam pic. I don't want to say a buggy oekaki made me look crap, but...the frustration over its bugginess made me look crap. It managed to freeze my computer--no joke. At least now it's behaving (seems Firefox had to update).

Good Lord, if anything can convince you that anyone can die, it's a Gundam series. At least half the cast gets shanked before the finale, no matter how important to the plot they seemed.
Wouldn't go worrying about any bugginess, either... none of it translated onto this page, as near as my discriminating eyes can tell. The pose, the emotion, and the setting all manage to actually make me feel genuinely sad about the death of an alternate-universe version of a fictional robot.

Indeed, anyone can die. It shows a more realistic side to life, but it's kind of sad to see some other people out there who kill off characters just to prove how much life sucks or to show how much balls they have... well, I at least respect the latter because not many people do have those balls. Yes, I include females. Female balls. Interesting image. Not.
So I'm guessing Proto's entire chest got blown off? 'Cause if the robots can take off their armor, I'm sure at least some of their artificial skin could be seen. Oh, whatever, you can draw gore better than me, even if it's robotic gore. *glare*

Yeah. And hey, I still had to use a reference for the gore (came from the RS cartoon). If I hadn't, it'd probably look...well, crap.

I know there are a lot of ways to convey realism, but I was taking a jab at the folks who kill off characters just to prove their bravery and it doesn't affect the overall plot too much. For instance, in my Something's Wrong fic, I haven't killed off any main characters yet because they're too important, and I felt like if I killed off a minor character, it'd seem... pointless. We get it; antagonist!Elecman's a sadistic bastard. I don't need to kill anyone off because I already established that. But now I'm rambling. *shoots self and pancakes spew*
