"Tell me, Elpizo...does anything go on in that thick head of yours?"I think I'll admit it...I have discovered my Megaman fancrack pet pairing: CopyX/Elpizo. It's not so much a pairing as it is just plain crack.
Of course, even in fancrack pairings, one must remember whom one is pairing with whom. In this case...
Copy-X
He's a bastard, plain and simple, and not even a naturally-born one like so many bastards are. Just because he was built by Ciel, it doesn't mean he's capable of kindness. Nope. So no fluff here. You fail, you die. Very simple.
Elpizo
Apparently they've met before, from what I can decipher from their Wiki-articles...but I digress. Let's face it, Elpizo would only be working for Copy-X to amass more power. But being a bad guy with low self-esteem and all (after his plans shatter, natch), he's bound to fail at least twice. Thus, here, Copy-X is about two seconds away from beating the shit out of him. Not to mention, CX is still a Reploid, and we all know how Elpy feels about Reploids.
There. Now, see why there's no room for fluff? I'm sure Elpy would be waiting, just waiting for the day he gains JUST enough power to tear CX apart, if their "relationship" goes on this way. And while they may LOOK it (Elpy wears an obscene amount of pink), neither one is a femmy limp-wristed sprite. This is MEGAMAN, and these two are BOSSES, so they CAN'T by limp-wristed sprites. Femmy, yes--limp, no.
...though Elpy still screams of "FROM THE LAND OF THE INAPPROPRIATELY DRESSED I COME!" because no man I've seen wears both pink AND long hair. He's clearly trying to give Zero a run for his zenny. Too bad Omega-Z beat him to it...

The back story CD with subtitles is now on youtube, which explains a lot about Elpizo's past. He started out as just another mass produced reploid, only having a number, not a name. It wasn't until he accidently uploaded files at a centuries old data archive about the time before Neo Arcadia that he became too intelligent for his own good, and thus was Judged in kangaroo court style as a Mavrick to protect the status qoue. One of the files was about a project 'Elpizo' and where he chose his name from, discarding his serial number.

Given how self deluded and self rightous Copy X is, those words are fantastically hypocritical.
And how does Elpizo feel about reploids? Even when he went insane from the Dark Elf, he was still interested in only getting back at the huamn race and their loyalists.
