You meet the most interesting characters when you go for a ride.Just one of those ideas that sprang into my head the other day. I did the line work that evening and finished the colors the following day. I know I should be doing something with this, but I don't know what.

I find it very amusing how that elephant could ride that tinie-tiny bike.

needs more background, it's like looking at the first three lines of a story and being able to find the rest.
Are they riding on grass, a side walk, a playground? Are there trees? Flowers? Maybe the Elephant is running away from the circus and the little boy has offered to help hide the elephant in his tree house?

it's distracting me from the horror that my daughter's bed room has become....
she wants to paint her walls slipper pink.

Have you tried talking her into painting just one of the walls that color? Then you could go a little darker and the contrast with the other walls could really make it pop. Then get a cheap curtain rod and hang some fabric above the head of the bed to make a huge and totally awesome headboard.

clearly, and yah, I've tried suggesting it as an accent but she wants all of it done. We put the first coat on yesterday. It's very....... pink in there.

Maybe you can break it up with some wall art or decorations. Or you can go back in and paint half of the room white and divide the two colors with a decorative border.

I'm leaning toward wall art... but I shudder to think of what could possibly work with pastel pink and purple. Mostly it's going to depend on what she wants, since the sneaky reason behind redoing the girl's bedrooms is to get them out of my office.

I did the contrast in size and in design of the characters with one being top heavy (kid) and one being bottom heavy (elephant) excellent job!
