I agree, it can get boring if you play too long. I was obsessed with it for 4-5 years, then it eventually got boring, lol.

I've played it a few times. The game was so short and eventually I got bored of playing it, wolves involved or not.

I'll admit that it is dull and the glitches are annoying, but I did enjoy it. Recently I started playing the first episode without doing all that finding a mate stuff, but that was before I had to let it go...my computer is still acting up about lack of memory (so it wasn't the games).Β
The one thing I never understood was if you take your pup into the territory of one of the other 'packs' (who we never really get to see much of), the wolf from said pack basically chases you around the whole area instead of just chasing you out of their territory.
What was the point of that? You chase me out of your land (with a pup in my mouth) and yet you still keep chasing me?

I had some great times with the game, very nostalgic, but yeah, it's pretty boring now that I'm older. I still hang around the forums though.

it's kind of fun the first time (though infuriating because of the terrible ai of your mate/puppies) but after a while, it just gets boring

I actually got the game a long time ago because I saw it and it looked pretty fun.
Boy was I wrong.
It's the most glitchy, boring, and difficult game I've ever played. I swear I got bored after the first 15 minutes! And the online multiplayer SUCKS. I bet all the wolfaboos are gonna be like "OMG I HAET U CUZ WOLFQEST IS THE BEST GAEM EVURRR FUK U!!"

So, so true. The only reason I play now is either to check if they lightened up the censored words, to fuck around with glitches, to see if I can find a server just to chat (which I don't), or very, very rarely to actually play a game because I have literally nothing else to do.

I must admit, I played Wolfquest for an incredibly long time. Unfortunately. It's where I started roleplaying! You could almost actually manage a good post when you typed censored words like (T)he (H)at (I)ll (S)ock. Anyone remember doing that in multiplayer? xD In all honesty it was a great game for me. I used my imagination and had some rather memorable roleplays. xD
It was fun while it lasted.
But now that game is just... poop. I mean really, you can't even say boy or girl, male or female or any of the sort from what I last heard, and people identify their gender as "Blue or pink" .____. I bet even blue and pink got censored after awhile. Wolfquest got way too safe.

How's it boring?
Is it because your mate has a serious case of retardation and your pups die quickly, and unrealistic hawks are on the ground and chase you?
Is it because you have to start a new game after you beat another one?

I love WolfQuest multiplayer when theres EXCITEMENT and FREEDOM. Like in the first one. But in Slough Creek they totally ruined it.

I think WolfQuest is alright for what it is: a safe educational game for kids. I play it now and then when I have no internet at college and I'm bored and have nothing better to do.
