Austin was a student at Magic Academy. The school had originally been built in 1794 and contained a blend of ancient and the modern styles with all of it being magical. Various secret rooms and secret passages had been added over the years. It was doubtful anyone knew all of them.
Secrets passages was exactly why Austin was examining one of the older parts of the school that had not been used for awhile. A seemingly good room not being used in years made him suspicious. He was certain something was being hidden there. He knocked on the wall and listened for the echo. The back corner of the room opposite the door sounded hollow.
Just as Austin thought, a small section of the room could be removed. He did so and crawled inside. Instead of leading to a hidden room as he thought, it led to an old diary written sometime during the 1950s. He was curious why the diary had been left in such a remote location and how it got there in the first place, but he was even more curious about what was written inside.
Austin opened the diary and began to read. It was all about a girl named Kathleen who was a student at Magic Academy decades ago. She gave her opinion about some of the students and even some of the teachers who were there at the time. She talked about her thoughts and her worries over the various days.
As Austin read the diary, his body started to change. The hair on his head grew down to his shoulders. His breasts grew slightly larger and he developed some feminine curves. Other features became less masculine and more feminine. Visions of Magic Academy during the 1950s entered his mind.
Kathleen started out fairly optimistic, but as time went on she felt someone, perhaps even a teacher had it in for her. Someone was playing magical pranks on her. She did not know who it was but the pranks were becoming more and more common. She needed to find a way to get them to stop.
Austin's clothing also changed. His shirt and pants fused together and became a dress, his shoes turned black and gained a buckle, his hair grew down his back, and his breasts grew out more making him look like a girl. Austin saw a magic class from Kathleen's point of view. The teacher and students were talking to him as if he was Kathleen.
Austin read on. Over time Kathleen realized that more than one person was pranking her. She did not think their pranks were harmless and was genuinely concerned for her life. It was time to take matters into her own hands. She had discovered a secret passage where she kept hidden hoping to discover who was behind it all.
At this point, Austin had become fully female. A white bow appeared on his, or her, head for her long hair which had finally stopped growing. Her dress turned green and rose above her knees. Her hair was blond and her eyes were brown. She knew this despite never having actually seen her hair or her eyes.
Thoughts about being in the classroom abruptly ended. She was in a secret passage with her diary, or so she thought. Austin was convinced she was indeed Kathleen and she was in the 1950s. The next diary entry was blank, but that was not a problem. She could write it herself. Her hiding plan had been successful. There was no sign of the pranksters.
It was not until Austin, looking and thinking like Kathleen, returned to Magic Academy in the 2020s. Her situation baffled even the most experienced teachers. Most of them had not even been around in the 1950s. This would be a difficult spell to undo.
Kathleen, actually Austin, did not understand what the fuss was about. All she did was hide from some pranksters for a while. She wondered if the pranksters had been able to get her after all.
