Jack and Sophia were classmates at Magic Academy. They were working on a new spell so Sophia invited Jack to her house to study. Jack gladly came. Besides learning a new spell he wanted to spend more time with her.
When Jack arrived Sophia had a circle on the floor with runes all around it. She told him to get inside the circle which he did. Then she cast the spell.
"Whenever someone the opposite sex of your base form says the word turkey you will change to the opposite sex of your base form," Sophia explained.
As she said this, Jack felt his body change. His breasts grew larger and felt more sensitive, his hair grew past his shoulders, his genitals changed from male to female, and even his school uniform changed from pants and shirt to skirt and blouse. The name Jenny popped into his mind as if that was the name he should use. All the changes surprised him but he did not have much time to react because he changed back almost immediately.
"Whenever someone the opposite sex of your base form says the word sugar you will change back," continued Sophia. "It appears to be working."
"You could have told me what the spell would do before casting it on me," complained Jack. "I know we need to learn new spells to pass our classes but at least you could have warned me!"
"Turkey!" shouted Sophia because she was tired of hearing him talk. Jack, or Jenny, stopped talking as soon as the change occurred. He could see the purpose of the spell.
"Sugar," said Sophia. Jack changed back. He still did not like the situation he was in but he remained silent because he did not want to provoke her.
"Do you want to go out and see if anyone recognizes you?" asked Sophia. Jack responded with a nod.
"Turkey," said Sophia. Jack once again changed form. He was getting used to it. They went to some of the local magic stores. Sophia introduced him as Jenny to people both of them knew. None of them were able to figure out that Jenny was actually Jack.
"Would you like to stop for some ice cream on the way back?" asked Sophia.
"No thank you," he replied.
The two of them continued their shopping trip. As Jenny, Jack was able to go places he did not normally go and do things he thought he would never do. Eventually the two of them returned home. Sophia had purchased many things which she placed on the couch as soon as she got home. He had not purchased anything.
"What would you like to eat?" wondered Sophia.
"Turkey sandwiches!" he exclaimed.
Sophia made turkey sandwiches for both of them. As they ate, they talked about their shopping trip and the things they did and did not do. They also talked about new spells they wanted to try.
"Sugar," said Sophia some time after they were done. Jenny did not change.
"What happened?" she screamed. "Why did I not change back?"
"You are what you eat," explained Sophia. "When you ate the turkey sandwiches your base form changed."
"You mean I'm stuck this way?" demanded Jack.
"No," Sophia said calmly. "It just means you need to find someone who is the opposite sex of your new base form. When he says turkey you will change back and when he says sugar you will become a girl again."
Jenny thought about who she might get to say those words and the ways it might go wrong.
"We should find a teacher before things get out of control," suggested Jenny.
Sophia was in agreement. She had secretly purchased some of the clothes for Jenny but if she did not want to stay that way she was not going to force her.
