Words Below:

The people in the neighborhood were having a problem with Jude. He had just gotten a motorcycle but he was using it irresponsibly. He rode it all around the neighborhood not caring what time of day or night it was or how loud a noise he made. That alone would have been tolerable but the people in the neighborhood had another greater problem.

Whenever Jude encountered other people while riding around the neighborhood, he would drive real close to them hoping to scare them. This was true for teenagers, adults, and little kids alike. People were afraid he was going to get hurt or killed doing this, or worse still hurt or kill others. Teenagers, adults, or little kids alike told him to stop but he ignored them.

Things had gone too far. Fortunately or unfortunately, someone in the neighborhood was skilled with magic, Actually several people in the neighborhood were skilled with magic but none of them claimed responsibility. One of them decided it was time to put Jude in his place.

When Jude was about to drive by a group of little kids, his motorcycle stopped. In fact his body stopped and everything around him stopped yet his mind was fully conscious of what was happening. It was as if time itself had stopped.

During the stillness of it all, Jude felt his body changing. His body became smaller. His hair grew longer and split into pigtails. His clothing became more feminine. Even the motorcycle itself changed into a simpler design. It no longer ran on gas and looked more like a bicycle.

The changes continued. Besides becoming smaller, Jude's body changed from male to female. Jude, or Judy, had clearly become younger. She gained characteristics for a girl her new age and lost any characteristics that were masculine or intended for someone older. Her clothes also became more suitable for a girl her age while maintaining the same basic style.

The bike, however, did not keep its basic style at all. The bike turned almost completely pink and a basket appeared on the front. It looked the way a girls' bike would look. It was a girls' bike which the caster thought would greatly please the people in the neighborhood.

Judy thought about everything that had happened to her since elementary school but as she thought about such things she forgot about them. She also forgot how to ride a bike even though Jude was already riding at that age. It was important to make sure Judy never did such a thing again.

As Judy thought about how to ride a bicycle without training wheels, things started moving again. The little kids ran out of the way but it turned out it was not necessary. The bike wobbled onto the sidewalk and then fell onto the relatively soft grass below. None of the little kids reacted to the sudden change. It was as if Judy had always been there.

Her mother came running out to her and asked Judy if she was alright. She said that she was. Her mother told her the next day they would go to a park where she could practice riding. Judy agreed and so they did. Only those people with magical abilities knew about the change. Most of them suspected Judy's mother but if it was her she never confessed to it.
