For spitfire animal villains contest. I wanted to use a character that no one else would think of. And what do most people not (want to) think of? Disney sequels!

In all honesty, out of all the bad direct-to-video sequels Disney churned out, Little Mermaid II was one of the least bad. Sure, it wasn't good, but it was at least watchable and had some fun moments. I actually really liked Melody. She's a cute kid.

More importantly, there's Undertow. I don't know why, but I really took a liking to this character. Might have to do with him being voiced by Clancy Brown, who you might know as the voice of Mr. Krabs. He's a giant tiger shark who gets shrunken down by magic. I really love his tiny-mode design.

I honestly don't remember what his fate was in the movie. He probably died. But I thought it'd be fun if he survived and was "adopted" by Melody.
