After I saw these UP coloring pages, I fell in love! It's so expressive and manages to capture the look and feel of the movie while still being its own thing. Check out the whole coloring book for the awesome art.
I wanted to focus on Carl and Ellie because, dang it, they're so cute. As great a movie as UP is, we all know those first 10 minutes are a masterpiece in and of themself. The fact that these two were together from childhood to Ellie's dying day (and possibly beyond) is just too adorable. I originally wanted to do a triptych of them from childhood to marriage to old age. But I couldn't find a good image of them as old folks, and I didn't feel like editing the pages too much, so I had to settle on a diptych.
