Oh, the previosu commenter said exactly what I wanted to say. It is instantly recognizable as tribute to H.R.Giger, but it is also obviously more than just an imitation. I think the decision to go with rather warmer, browner tones is also playing into it (Giger's work tended to be on the colder spectrum, IMHO). Good work!

While I applaud your honoring H.R. Giger's work, there is not doubt this image stands on its own as an original piece.
Excellent job at capturing the feel of Giger while still making this your own.
