Description
This is a dead butterfly i found dryed up and just sitting there next to my car tire which really freaked me out. I was surprised by how well perserved it looked for something that must have at least been dead for over a day and BY MY CAR'S TIRE! It was really beautiful so i kept it and i took a couple shots of it. Beautiful colors. Long Live the Dead Monarch.Related content

This is really pretty. You did a great job with the angles. Suprisingly, they do stay well preserved. I found one that landed on the beach, and one stuck in the grill of my car. (I felt really bad that he flew into my car.

Thank you! <3 well believe it or not, alot of things in nature came REALLY early this year and left very quickly. So they probably just came real fast without us really seeing them much. I still see them aroudn a bit. I saw two today and a bumblebee having breakfast in our rose vines.

I dono. So pretty but its saddening that it had to die.

but its amazing still just.. the way it died in this perfect form. Its wings spread out, its body pulled in against itself.... its so sad yet so beautiful
