In a Land Apart — Description

You're getting a three-for-one special today, because it's my bestie Megan's birthday, and for once in her life she actually told me exactly what she wants! XD That means I can give her exactly what she ordered, thank you for making my life easy this year, b. I know that sounds like I'm taking the piss but it's genuinely refreshing and I'm jumping on the opportunity.
Design notes, holy fucking shit I did it. Megan, I have never in my life been so artistically dedicated to a piece than this. All you told me was “I wanna pic of meeting my dragon on this mountain” but I couldn't let that be the bottom line. No for some reason this had to be magical. I hope you know that means you're such a special friend to me. This is not only a love letter to one of my oldest gal pals, but my middle finger to anyone who thinks I'll never be a real artist or make it big as an internet person just because my medium is printer paper and Crayola pencils. Is it perfect? Fuck no, but I've earned my place on this platform dammit. Thank you, Megan, for bringing out the best in me. Happy birthday hun, you're my sister and I can't trade you for anyone!
