I like the topic of boys used like animal like that, being ridden or being made pull a cart or a plow or push grinding mill, whipped to make them move faster, if they really want to degrade them yes, a fake tail, a harness or in extreme cases cutting would be stimulating ideas for a story

Yes! I like that kind of degradation too! I have read something like that on some Tumblr pages, mainly short stories but with interesting concepts and I have seen some drawings well done, but it would be difficult to make a good series of drawings, maybe writing some stories would be easier and maybe someone gets inspired to make good drawings out of them
I have seen stories of boys dressed and treated like dogs or cats too, it is humiliating but I think horse play would be more interesting since they would be almost always toiling pulling carts and whipped

They are just dressed with fake tail and ears, they wear collars and leash and are made to behave like cats or dogs, just a roleplay!
For hard work slaves yes, I would prefer horse boys like that, they are all interesting ideas for a story in which they are treated cruelly, degraded to animals to be trained and used, disturbing and exciting
I would have two for my car, some to ride directly and some for other tasks, some for show and some for mere toiling xD
For the story I am currently writing I have already decided the plot more or less, but I think I will do another story or a side story with this kind of elements
