Three Posts — Description
They have been tied up like this half an hour ago but the punishment is being already effective. Their arms, neck and back are aching, the rough rope is scratching their wrists. They have to release their weight on their legs or on their arms, fatigue and aching force them to alternate in a painful and endless dance.
After few hours they are sweating profusely under a burning sun, adding thirst, muscle cramps and sunburns to their ordeal. The blond slaveboy on the left passes out a couple of times during the day, while the ebony one in the middle starts a sort of delirium. In this cases a guard uses a bucketful of water to wake them up from their numbness, keeping them aware.
After the sunset swarms of mosquitos take advantage of their almost naked bodies.
They are exhausted but it's impossible to sleep in these conditions, they are reduced to a continuous intoxicating confusion, too annihilated even to stand on their legs anymore.
They don't know when this torture will be over, their master thinks one or two days more will be sufficient.
