Six Slaves — Description
Here a heterogeneous* stock of young slaves to suit the tastes of different customers.
Each of them is about to be sold in perhaps the largest and richest market of my con-world.
Six different stories: two of them are war prisoners from newly conquered lands, one has been enslaved as a punishment for theft, another has been sold by his own parents to repay a debt and the remaining two were born in slavery.
Six different destinies, since the merchant who currently owns them still has to decide what is more convenient between starting an auction or putting a price to bargain directly with the possible buyers. They are all young and handsome, some are stronger, some are prettier. The slave dealer has to present them in the most appealing way to maximize the profit.
Now they are exposed in a sunburnt square waiting and wondering what kind of life expects them. House servants? Bed slave in a harem or in a brothel? Toiling in a field, on a galley or in a mine? Each of them is about to be examined and evaluated to take a decision about that.
