Entourage Slaves — Description
These personal slaves of a Tlân noble can enjoy some spare time waiting to be called back to work.

Incense holder: a young boy whose task is to parfum (ritually 'purify') the air for the passage of his master.

Two fan holders against heat and insects.

Two of the four/six/eight palanquin holders. Forehead bands are a distinctive sign and a useful tool against sweat stinging in their eyes. As slaves are prescribed to go barefoot, thorns and pebbles can be a frequent annoyance.

Other slaves and servants are usually employed for various other tasks, according to etiquette context and practical needs.
