Marvel Legacy - Toxin — Description

When the Carnage symbiote was bonded to Max Parker (clone made of Peter Parker and Mac Gargan's DNA), it sensed that its birthing process was upon it and a new symbiote would spawn from it. During the birthing process, Max was found by his siblings Jessica, Ben (Reilly), and Abel (Kane). During the chase, the new symbiote fell away from Max and Carnage and they lost track of it. The villains would have to come back later to find it if they wanted to evade capture. The newly born symbiote fell onto a teen by the name of Eddie Mulligan. This wasn't the first time his family had a run in with a symbiote. Eddie's father, Pat, was a cop who was killed by Carnage when it was bonded to Cletus Kassidy. Eddie freaked out when he started hearing a voice in his head that wasn't his own and seeing slime come out his skin and go right back in. When the symbiote gained enough sentience, he revealed his name, Toxin, creation of Carnage, descendant of Venom. Eddie hated what was in him because it was connected to the creature who killed his dad. Trying to ignore it for some time wasn't an option since Toxin would continue to talk even if Eddie wouldn't listen. Eddie would start to come around to accepting Toxin after being caught in a battle between Spider-Man and Rhino. Rhino charged at Eddie and Toxin came out, defending his host and revealing all the abilities having a symbiote gave him. Eddie would escape immediately after the fight (which he won when he lifted Rhino and slammed him into the ground repeatedly. Eddie saw this curse of his and an opportunity to become more than what he was now, to be a hero like his dad was.
