Warning just in case, 'cause I don't want to get in trouble.

A slight background as to what it was that Am (my OC, for those of you that don't know :3 ) had to experience during the first 10-11 years of his life, that he cannot remember. He was part of an experiment, along with other children, and subjected to torturous tests daily. In order to keep himself sane and try to be in control of something at all in his life, Am started hurting himself, using his bare hands. After escaping from the facility he was kept in, Am lost his memories, due to the many traumatic experiences he suffered there.

The blood on his socks in this picture is not necessarily from him, nor is the blood in the left corner.

I...I'm really sorry for how dark and, well, bloody this picture is. When I started it, I had no intention of it to look like this, to be honest. xD;
I did a kind of soft coloring and shading, because I feel it fits with the mood of the picture. When I tried to do a rougher, and more obvious shading, it just didn't feel nor look right. The blood was actually kind of fun to draw and experiment with, though I should probably consider downloading some blood splat brushes. Doing this with the normal brush tool in Sai was, however, fun and I actually learned some new stuff, which is great~ :3
I also kind of like how simple this piece is. <3

Feel free to download it and use it as a wallpaper or whatever. It's kinda big though, so you might want to re-size it in Paint. It's not a have-to-do though.
