Every one has that inner demon. But not a literal one, no. It's not a beast trying to claw it's way out. It is not a second consciousness.
No, these demons I refer to are the ones that exist only in our minds, and ravage us just as painfully as the physical ones if not more so; because we know that we can't make this one go away. It is always there, whispering its dark words to make you falter; to bring you just a bit closer to your own oblivion.
We fight as hard as we believe we can. We fight even harder, and still; this demon, this darkness inside simply cannot disappear, it cannot go away.
Helpless in the knowledge of this seemingly unwavering fact, we hope that simply the bit that we do fight can keep it at bay long enough for us to rest a bit.
We hope to smile another day, until the demon and its darkness comes forward once again, to fight us; and should we lose...
It will swallow us whole.

A personal piece, interpret the art how you wish, but this is not a particularly happy piece for me. However, I am proud of the way this piece came about.
This is dedicated to those of you out there that all have our own inner demons and darkness to fight, and are getting just a bit tired of doing this fighting and trying to be strong.
You know who you are.
(Note: I may offer this as a print later on, should enough people be interested in them.)

Well you know what? Maybe you could help unnoticed art get noticed or something like that. You could find art that you love but nobody else had seen and share it. It would make you happy then, because people are seeing it and you love it as well!
I don't know if I would call this piece amazing, but I do like it. It's what I feel like a good portion of the time but I don't know if I personally would dub this amazing. But that could just be me being too hard on myself; like I normally am.

Its such a shame that no one has commented on this, so I guess i'll be the first.
First I have to say that I love the over all look of this picture, how Zero seems so intent on standing his ground, while still seeming a bit unsure about it, even as this other force is threating to completely take over. The coloring is also very well, specially being that its in colored pencils, thats really hard to do to get such smooth coloring like that! I will say that the other 'wolf' looks a bit off but im sure that you werent intending on making it perfect since its supposed to be more of subconcious/supernatural being and not an actual creature. My favorite thing mostly is how you drew the mouth, gotta love those snarly faces and I like how the 'flesh' is being torn all around its mouth to give it that nice added creepy touch
Its a lovely picture, dark, but yet still very meaningful in its own way. I cant believe that there are no comments and damn it all there should be! Either way I hope this comment means something <3
