[W] Bittersweet — Description

  Hypnos looked down at the female gro in his arms, Cappuccino laid asleep curled into his chest. Hypnos couldn't help but feel like this was a bittersweet moment he was having, he finally understood what his feelings were towards Cappuccino and told her, in return she admitted she felt the same towards him and shared a sweet snoot boop to seal the deal between each other. But the bandages wrapped around her chest and back reminded him that she lost something important tonight.

  After their confessions, Cappuccino wanted get up and make sure her children were okay and check on the small wynglings that they brought with them. Hypnos had insisted that she stay in bed, she was hurt and lost a lot of blood, he told her he'd check on them all and settle them down. With reluctance she gave in to the quad's requests and Hypnos went off quickly to care for her kids.

  Half hour later, everyone was fine and Hypnos walked back into Capp's room to find the female still awake. Hypnos sighed worried that she was pushing herself a little too far.
"Come on, Cappy," Hypnos walked over, his hooves making soft clicks on the floor, "You gotta rest or you won't get better." He noticed Cappuccino blush a bit
"C-Cappy?" Cappuccino stuttered a bit, making Hypnos give a gentle chuckle
"Yeah. I thought I give you a special nickname just for me to call you." Hypnos gave a innocent smile that almost didn't seem all that innocent, "Since we're mates now." This made the brown biped stutter a bit not expecting his words. "Now enough talk for now, you need rest."
Cappuccino began to fiddle her fingers a bit finding the blankets interesting then the male speaking to her.
"W-will you stay with me?" Cappuccino muttered beneath her breath, surprising Hypnos before he gave a sweet smile to her.
"Of course." Hypnos gave her one more quick snoot boop before he gently lifted his large frame onto the bed. Careful to not hurt Cappuccino's injuries further. He placed her onto his chest and offered his arm as a extra pillow.

Soon, Cappuccino was asleep and left Hypnos to watch her. Though he felt absolutely tired and wanted nothing more to follow the female to the land of dreams, he couldn't close his eyes. He just wanted make sure she was safe and that everything was going to be okay. A few hours passed and felt his body heat spike up a bit, he could feel Cappuccino's head was burning a bit as well.

Something wasn't quite right, he could feel it, but he needed to be strong.
"Everything is going to be okay, Cappy." Hypnos whispered, "I love you."
